Environmental Stewardship



The mission of the newly formed Environmental Stewardship Committee is to educate, inform and take action to help the parish be responsible stewards of the earth. The Environmental Stewardship Committee is working with the Diocesan Committee on the Environment. They will also be working with St. Thomas' Buildings and Grounds Manger to develop an overall plan for caring for the parish property in an environmentally sensitive way. Activities include:

• Planting with Church School Youth

• Water Conservation

• Recycling within daily Church operation

• Paper recycle container available for Parish use

The committee also looks forward to working with The Right Rev. Eugene Sutton, Bishop of Maryland, who shares this deep commitment.
