Sewing and Knitting Outreach

Our Sewing and Knitting Outreach group met every Thursday morning and one Sunday per month during the winter months of 2011/2012. Primary community projects made and donated include knitted welcome blankets to Habitat of Humanity residents, knitted and crocheted prayer shawls, quilted covers for incubators and caps for ‘premies’ at the University of Maryland Hospital, woolen hats to sailors, sweaters to residents of the House of Ruth, sweaters and hats to children at the Ark, and other small projects.
