St Thomas Church

Dear Friends,

Stewardship is more than a duty; it is a thankful response to God’s graciousness to us.  As part of the St. Thomas’ community, the Clergy, Wardens and Vestry have made a covenant to personally commit to maintain a discipline of regular giving for the support of the Church’s work on behalf of Christ’s kingdom.

We urge, through our own example, that the same standard and challenge be accepted by every member of this congregation.  We recognize that how we spend and share our money says a lot about our real values and priorities.  Let our stewardship be an expression of gratitude-our grateful recognition that everything we have is a pure gift from God.

The Vestry has approved a budget for 2009 which includes additional resources for youth ministry, outreach and music programs.  Your help is needed if we are to successfully fund these programs that benefit not only our St. Thomas’ community but also reach out into the community at large-where we work, where we live.

Thank you for making your personal commitment of time, talent and treasure and let us all give thanks to God our Father for all His gifts so freely bestowed upon us.
