Worship Ministries
St. Thomas’ worship is alive! God is present as we give praise together and we learn to integrate our faith with our lives. Our Sunday Holy Communion service at 8 am is a traditional Rite 1 worship without music. Our Sunday 10 am Holy Communion service is according to Rite 2 in the Book of Common Prayers with music featuring our magnificent choir. Also on Sunday, we have our Last Chance Mass at 5 pm, a casual “come as you are” service in the Old School Building.
On most Sundays, we have an offering of Sunday School for our children at 9:45 am which allows our younger members to have an age appropriate presentation of God’s word. At the time of the Peace, the children join their families for Communion.
Our worship ministries rely on the dedication of our lay ministers and there are many ways to be involved. St. Thomas’ Church worship ministries include:
- Readers
- Acolytes
- Altar Guild
- Flower Guild
- Choir
- Chalice Bearers
- Ushers
If you are interested in learning more about these ministries, contact our Parish Administrator Barbara Parks and she will connect you with a ministry leader.
