Education
Adult Education
Christian Education is life-long. St. Thomas’ offers learning opportunities for adults led by clergy and lay ministers throughout the year. Adult Education seeks to expand our knowledge of our Christian heritage, help us embrace our role as Christ’s representatives in the world, and grow spiritually in our commitment to the Living Word of God.
We are currently offering online learning and small group discussions using the Church Next curriculum. Please contact us if you are interested in joining a group.
Children and Youth Education
St. Thomas’ Preschool
In 2018, Brown Memorial Weekday Preschool moved to St. Thomas’ Church and in 2019 became St. Thomas’ Preschool. Learn more about St. Thomas’ Preschool here.
Spiritual Formation and Education
We assist in the spiritual formation of children and youth, receive and honor the gifts they bring, facilitate their worship of God and membership in our faith community, and equip them for ministry through instruction in our shared faith and participation in the church liturgy.

Confirmation Class
Sunday School
Our Sunday School serves children from age 4 to confirmation. Teachers are volunteers from the parish (many of whom are parents). Teenagers also assist in the classrooms for younger children. The curriculum is Biblically-based and filled with meaningful, fun, and engaging experiences. The Sunday School seeks to introduce students to Episcopal liturgy, Bible stories, basic tenets of faith, and the importance of outreach. Sunday School ends at 10:30 a.m. so children can celebrate Eucharist with the St. Thomas’ community. To register or volunteer for Sunday School, email Barbara Parks.
St. Thomas’ Cookie Ministry
At different times throughout the year, our Church School classes will bake cookies for area food pantries. Please let us know if you would like to help!
